The Lions treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 134th overall pick on Vincent Anthony Jr. a full 59 spots early.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, McNeil-Warren at that price is a win they earned.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
