The Jordan Travis selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 35 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots went begging. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
