A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bears a B-.

The war room fell hard for Jalen Thompson, and it showed at pick No. 245: 32 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Lance at that price is a win they earned.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
