A costly weekend of dealing drags the Falcons to a D. Boards are made to be trusted, and the Falcons shredded theirs for Chantz Williams. He came off 245 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The math is unkind, and the D follows.
However the rest shakes out, Paul Jr. at that price is a win they earned. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The Falcons paired the rookies with proven help, DK Metcalf leading the way.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
