You could see the war room lean forward. Cam Skattebo at the Round 6 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Stephon Gilmore pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
