The Titans found their guy under center in Ward: B-.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Titans committed. Cam Ward is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

However the rest shakes out, Bech at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Thomas has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In Round 1, Pick 1 they get a franchise quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick35 Rnd2 Azareye'h Thomas
A big swing on Azareye'h Thomas at pick No. 35, well ahead of any board in the building. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick103 Rnd4 Jack Bech
Jack Bech in the 103rd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It fills a real need, too.

They robbed the room for Ashton Gillotte here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
