Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Titans: B.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Titans never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The Neal pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Rueben Bain Jr.
In pick 1 they get a premier pass rusher at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick33 Rnd2 KC Concepcion
KC Concepcion at slot 33 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick65 Rnd3 Deontae Lawson
Deontae Lawson at the 65th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick101 Rnd4 Julian Neal
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Julian Neal in the Round 4 slot. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick141 Rnd5 Jyaire Hill
Jyaire Hill in No. 141 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Pick143 Rnd5 Logan Jones
Logan Jones in pick No. 143 is fair value, right on his grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick181 Rnd6 Aaron Anderson
Aaron Anderson in Round 6, Pick 1 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick240 Rnd7 Conner Weigman
They read the board right and Conner Weigman was the payoff at the 240th pick. It fills a real need, too.
