There is conviction, and then there is this. The Falcons took Cam Miller a full 149 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

However the rest shakes out, Walker at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and wide receiver is still a hole.
