The Ravens won the night they stopped Lawson from sliding. Grade: A-. Somebody in the 246th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Deontae Lawson, the No. 17 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
