There is reaching, and then there is Da'Quan Felton at the 183rd overall pick. The Ravens jumped the board by 145 and dared it to prove them wrong. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. On value alone, Mickens makes the weekend a net positive.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
