Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Ravens checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The Ravens spent real capital to be 65 picks early on Blake Miller, and the board is going to hold them to it. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

However the rest shakes out, Weigman at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Evan Tengesdahl
In pick 31 they get a long-term starter on the line. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick63 Rnd2 Blake Miller
Value said wait; Blake Miller in the 63rd overall pick says they were not listening. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick95 Rnd3 David Bailey
They paid a round early for David Bailey in Round 3, Pick 31, more than the board wanted. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick131 Rnd4 Jake Slaughter
Jake Slaughter in slot 131 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick170 Rnd5 Conner Weigman
A quarterback of that caliber at the 170th pick is the definition of value, full stop. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick172 Rnd5 Brandon Inniss
Nice patience on Brandon Inniss, who had no business lasting to the Round 5 slot. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick175 Rnd5 Tyreak Sapp
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Tyreak Sapp well ahead of where he belonged. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick209 Rnd6 Rueben Owens
No edge and no loss on Rueben Owens in pick 209; it is a wash and a sensible one. The roster fit checks out.
Pick244 Rnd7 Keaten Wade
Keaten Wade at pick No. 244 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick246 Rnd7 Kyron Drones
Kyron Drones at the Round 7 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It fills a real need, too.
