Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B

The Ravens checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Ravens did exactly that with Bhayshul Tuten in slot 129. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On value alone, Kennard makes the weekend a net positive. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick27 Rnd1 Derrick Harmon
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Derrick Harmon. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick59 Rnd2 Jonah Savaiinaea
Value with a capital V on Jonah Savaiinaea in pick No. 59, a genuine coup. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick91 Rnd3 Kyle Kennard
They let Kyle Kennard come to them and pounced at slot 91. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick129 Rnd4 Bhayshul Tuten
Bhayshul Tuten in the Round 4 slot is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick136 Rnd4 Jake Majors
Jake Majors at Round 4, Pick 34 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
