Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueA+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Ravens for Singleton Jr.: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Ravens were there to profit. Eric Singleton Jr., the No. 27 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 246.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 T.J. Parker
In No. 31 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
Pick63 Rnd2 Keldric Faulk
Taking Keldric Faulk in Round 2, Pick 31 is close to grand larceny; an edge rusher that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick95 Rnd3 Spencer Fano
They robbed the room for Spencer Fano here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick131 Rnd4 Cade Klubnik
They will replay Cade Klubnik at slot 131 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick143 Rnd5 Jermod McCoy
Jermod McCoy in pick No. 143 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick170 Rnd5 Cayden Green
A offensive lineman of that caliber at the 170th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick172 Rnd5 Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman at the 172nd pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick175 Rnd5 Darrell Jackson Jr.
Darrell Jackson Jr. in the Round 5 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick244 Rnd7 Charles Jagusah
The board fumbled Charles Jagusah all the way to pick 244, and they scooped it up. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick246 Rnd7 Eric Singleton Jr.
They barely believed it either: Eric Singleton Jr. still on the board at No. 246. It fills a real need, too.
