Sapp should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a B+.

Somebody in the 246th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Tyreak Sapp, the No. 30 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
