Chaim34 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B-

FutureB-
The Seahawks finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Garrett Nussmeier is the Seahawks' quarterback, full stop. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Every board in the league had Nussmeier lower, and that gap is the story.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Garrett Nussmeier
In pick 26 they get the face of the franchise, even if it was a touch early. A real need, handled.
Pick57
Rnd2
Kamari Ramsey
A market-rate safety, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kamari Ramsey. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick90
Rnd3
Caleb Tiernan
By-the-book stuff, Caleb Tiernan at No. 90 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick125
Rnd4
Eugene Wilson III
No drama and no debate, Eugene Wilson III went about where he belonged in slot 125. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick166
Rnd5
Aaron Graves
A straight-up fair deal on Aaron Graves at pick No. 166, value and slot in agreement. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick186
Rnd6
Le'Veon Moss
They paid sticker price for Le'Veon Moss in Round 6, Pick 5, and that is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
