A solid, sensible weekend for the Saints: B-. Everything else got attention, and wide receiver got none. That is a strange way for the Saints to leave a draft. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
The Parker reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
