The Saints let Ransom fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The Saints spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Lathan Ransom, the No. 107 name on the board, in the 170th pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They will need TeSlaa to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
