A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bills to a D.

The Charles Turner III selection is the head-turner. The Bills reached 49 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
