The Patriots bet the future on Ewers. The board says F. The Sav'ell Smalls pick is the one that will follow the Patriots into the fall. They took him 110 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Daniels. Whatever Quinn Ewers becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.
