The Eagles did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Jason Marshall Jr. pick is the one that will follow the Eagles into the fall. They took him 42 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

With interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
