The Cowboys answered their biggest question with Sanders. Grade: D+.

The Cowboys torched the value chart for Barryn Sorrell, taking him 122 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

Landing Collins that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The whole projection now runs through Shedeur Sanders; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The veteran additions, Jakobi Meyers chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
