Draft Grade — Chargers
Overall

FutureB-
Good, not great, for the Chargers: B-. The one they had to fix is still broken. The Chargers left edge rusher untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
If Harmon pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick22
Rnd1
Derrick Harmon
In Round 1, Pick 22 they get a load in the middle, though they paid up to get him. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick55
Rnd2
Kaleb Johnson
They did well to land Kaleb Johnson in the 55th pick, just ahead of his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick86
Rnd3
Gunnar Helm
They took Gunnar Helm at par in the Round 3 slot, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
