The Broncos checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Broncos shredded theirs for Cam Skattebo. He came off 28 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
