Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Saints spent pick 254 on Thor Griffith, a name the board had a full 62 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Adding Mazi Smith by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
