Lassiter should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a A-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Kamari Lassiter had no business being available in Round 3, Pick 7, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

In the end it comes back to Malik Nabers, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
