Nobody dealt better than the Seahawks this weekend: B. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Seahawks came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.
They are betting Foster proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Slaughter pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick64
Rnd2
Jake Slaughter
Somehow Jake Slaughter was still sitting there in the Round 2 slot, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick213
Rnd6
Bryce Foster
Bryce Foster in Round 6, Pick 32 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
