Best value of the weekend goes to the Eagles for Johnson: B+.

The Eagles did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Tez Johnson fell into pick No. 162.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Micah Parsons pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
