If confidence were a draft strategy, the Ravens would have aced it. Jalen Rivers at No. 245 is 135 spots clear of where he belonged.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Cornelius pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
