It is a puzzling start. The Cardinals had quarterback to solve and reached instead for Cade Stover, a TE-EDGE, at Round 4, Pick 5. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Newton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
