The real work happened on the phones. The Eagles fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

That McCormick pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Every board in the league had Dixon lower, and that gap is the story.
