After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Smith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

Landing Ford that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.
