The tape said wait; the Bills did not. Keaton Bills went at slot 145, a good 125 picks before the board was ready.

Getting Watson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and tight end. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
