The steal of the weekend belongs to the Jets and Bassa: A-.

Somebody in Round 5, Pick 24 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 122 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
