The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Every board in the league had Smith lower, and that gap is the story. On value alone, Smith makes the weekend a net positive.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.
