The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 46 spots for Jalen Travis, and value like that does not grow back. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That Thornton Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
