Nobody had Ashton Gillotte this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 20 spots to get him at pick No. 76. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.
