Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent the 125th overall pick on Jaylan Ford, a name the board had a full 52 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
