A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B+ weekend for the Bears.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had Rice lower, and that gap is the story.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Abrams-Draine pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
