Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Titans came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

With edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That Smith pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
