You can hear the double-takes from here. The Broncos took Kaidon Salter at the 221st overall pick, roughly 143 spots before his name belonged.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
