When a board-topper like Emery Jones Jr. slides to No. 162, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Every board in the league had West lower, and that gap is the story. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
