Jam2113 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B-
ValueC+
NeedB+
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Seahawks checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named edge rusher, a need the Seahawks walked right past. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
Slaughter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Hill Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Jake Slaughter
In slot 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line, even if it was a touch early. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick55
Rnd2
Anthony Hill Jr.
Value with a capital V on Anthony Hill Jr. in pick 55, a genuine coup. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick86
Rnd3
Nicholas Singleton
Nicholas Singleton at Round 3, Pick 22 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It fills a real need, too.
Pick121
Rnd4
Drew Allar
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Drew Allar at No. 121 is the proof. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick161
Rnd5
Davison Igbinosun
They took Davison Igbinosun at par in pick No. 161, which is nothing to complain about. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick182
Rnd6
Xavier Nwankpa
Xavier Nwankpa in the 182nd overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
