The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Mason Taylor, the No. 97 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 210 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Whatever Jalen Milroe becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The Milroe pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
