A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bears to a B-.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent the 225th overall pick on Tony Grimes, a name the board had a full 69 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting Carlies where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
