This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cooper DeJean, the No. 61 name on the board, stolen at the 94th overall pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will need Wilson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. With quarterback and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
