The Cowboys cashed the board's mistake on Laumea: B.

Somebody in Round 5, Pick 38 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Sataoa Laumea, the No. 141 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Colson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
