The Cowboys worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

The Cowboys ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Wilson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
