The steal of the weekend belongs to the Jets and Ransom: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Lathan Ransom at No. 157 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
