There is reaching, and then there is Curtis Jacobs at No. 134. The Cowboys jumped the board by 61 and dared it to prove them wrong. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. It is not that Jenkins is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
