You can draft well and still miss the point. The Texans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Coleman steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
